We are accredited by The Association of Noise Consultants to undertake sound insulation testing to Approved Document E; a pre-completion requirement for new dwellings or conversions as stipulated in UK building regulations. Approved Document E came into effect on 1st July 2003, with further amendments made the following year, and its legislation is devoted to a building’s ‘Resistance to the passage of sound’.
