Noise or sound insulation testing is a pre-completion requirement for new dwellings or conversions under UK building regulations. The regulation requirements are set out in Approved Document E. AECL carry out pre-completion sound insulation testing at the request of the Building Control Officer, using Approved Document E for guidance as to which partitions need testing and the number of tests required. As environmental consultants we are accredited to undertake sound insulation testing to Approved Document E by the Association of Noise Consultants.
